Single Alert: AJO – ‘Word Smitten’ not a friendly statement to quack rappers

Word Smitten is track 8 of the No Apologies EP and the fourth single to be released. From Freak A freestyle, Kamikaze, No Apologies and now Word Smitten for a person who hasn’t got a copy of No Apologies you might wonder what the project is about. Well good news Word Smitten places the whole EP is its appropriate context and text.
Word Smitten is not so far detached from the boisterous AJO on No Apologies and he is quite more vocal and from a point of view that resents wack rappers. He mentions on this track, “I am A witty rapper” and on the hook he says “Heaven sent me here just to raise hell”. AJO haves a good time on this track produced at Portbell Drive by Nase Avatar. AJO demands the attention lyrically here.
With a high level of infatuation for word play AJO doesn’t resist from showing that off all through the track. This track can be an empowerment statement to young rappers who know their craft is great and yet have been under-looked. The tone of delivery definitely communicates it clearly. Word Smitten holds concretely the ideas of No Apologies, worth listening to on repeat and usual AJO executes well on this one.
