They have been silent for a while; doing solo projects and last year having a feud with the retired Benezeri. Last year KSL dropped his debut EP African Childhood Stories and Chief had a number of tracks released including the Benezeri diss song Sharapova.

Abekika is their latest single off their forthcoming album. According to KSL the album name will be Abekika (of the clan / Clans people or clansmen) – this therefore their new single the title track of the project.

It is a braggadocio charged track with the Clansmen showing off lyrical abilities, inspiring good vibes. The sound is a blend between EDM, rap, and synthesizes Afro-Hip hop. They brag about how dope they are from KSL’s vocal self to bossy Chief’s verse – Abekika places them back into fresher conversation in mid-2017.
