The love of caps has for years manifested globally and locally here from the Rapaholix caps, to the popular KLA labelled caps. UG Hip Hop has always shown love for caps and a number of artists have considered their merchandise collection to feature snapbacks.
KSL on the remix of “Snapbacks” got St NellySade, singer Akeine and Clansmen member Ch!ef to carry on the conversation. The new song doesn’t differ far much from the original that features Sliq Teq who also made the beat.
As part of the celebration of Hip Hop fashion, the track highlights the need to normalize rap drip – the rappers show off their cap drip.
Simon Elly, Sliq Teq and Ledra are enlisted as producers on this remix. Jimlox shot the visual.
