Rookie of the year MTN UG Hip Hop Awards 2022, 20 year old rapper Zedmonk Ssabatontomi is celebratory on new spiritual joint “Bow Before God”. He is in praise of the most high as talks his losses and wins. He urges masses to accept the power of God.
Born Kabuubi Akram, Zed Monk Ssabatontomi’s career date back to 2019. He is partly a battle rapper whose noriety was first sparked from the Street Credit Show on which he was a regular.
“Bow Before God” produced by 207 is an appreciation of sorts for him as he calls himself as the “chosen” (nze mujuliri…). He also goes a head to motivate everyone going through a difficult situation to hope for better and acknowledge Allah/God for changes.
Zedmonk is one of the budding rappers we should pay attention to for his lyrical skill and relatability.
