Break Fast Jam, next stop Kampala

Ideally everyone is capable of any element of Hip Hop. But don’t mistake the assertion for: Everyone can be able to practice all the elements of Hip Hop. Breaking is like sport. It is the skeletal / body element of Hip Hop that actually requires almost all your body involved. Last weekend Break Fast Jam came up with Eastern Region winner.

Crowned winners of the breaking and popping battles were Wadada ‘Umar Xperience’ Umar from Mbale and Mbwambale ‘Shafiq Codes’ Shafic from Jinja respectively. According to Break Fast jam chairman, Kaweesi Mark; we have to anticipate for the Central eliminations.

[The two winners will] be competing at the finals on 18^th & 19^th November in Kampala with qualifiers from the [three] remaining preliminary events. The next elimination event is Break-Fast Jam 2017 Central Uganda eliminations happening on 12^th August in Kampala. *** Kaweesi Mark

Break Fast Jam is an annual event that explores and promotes breaking as an element of hip hop. Until then, shall wait for the next series in Kampala later this year.
