U Got Mail is a fresh release from Reuu The Poet on which he features LL from Germany.
Reuu The Poet is a budding rapper who has drawn inspiration from NTM as a crew and particularly from Mickey So-Low and Pryce Teeba. On this boom bap inspired and conscious rap he demonstrates what he has to offer lyrically.
His craft-man-ship is apt and naturally convincing as he knits words together. As a new artist he has a lot to explore and prove.
He told us how U Got Mail came about, read below:
I never had the courage to actually sit down and write flash forward to when I listened to Mickey So-Low’s ‘”Last Breed ” Ep I was blown away I used to listen to Hip Hop but I hadn’t listened to UG Hip Hop that much I was truly inspired by Mickey So-Low and the NTM crew to try to write something LL was a friend I made when I listened to him on sound cloud and he was dropping sick bars
It wasn’t until one day when LL sent me an instrumental and told me I’d sound great on it and that I had to write some rhymes to it so I wrote my rhymes and told him to kill the track with me a couple months past and “U Got Mail ” was born
