Single Alert: Focus by Keino Music off The EthVille Mixtape
On the journey to proving his spit game, Keino released his mixtape The EthVille Mixtape on Dec 5 as an introduction. He had successful singles like Rock City Girl and To The Beat (at least they had radio spins). Focus is yet among the singles now so far released off the mixtape. Focus is track 11, produced by his main producer Gamit / Joe Beats at Titanium Rekordz.
It is a feel good sound inspired by dance-hall, dance and pop inspired sounds. Keino switches up his style a bit on this one with Swahili and Luganda lines sliding in and out a crucial points of the track. He obviously talks about the themes suggested by the title of the song: focus. At a first listen the song is provocative.
