New music: Unsung Hero, Tuva Wala, Party, Chasing Connections, Elevating – wRap Discovery

There used to be a music drought ten years ago due to inacessibility and may be entry level for artistes. In the 2020s music drops almost every second, on numerous platforms and sometimes you need to dig for it to find it.

Here is what I found for you, some latest projects for you.

New music from Papa T, Blixxack, The Mith, 1Der Jr and Waade.

• Brian Waade Segujja yesterday 16th November dropped a new album, Unsung Hero. The project has been long teased with features from Flex D’Paper, Samie Smillz, Kev K, Esther Kandi and Aaron Page. Waade weeks ago talked about this project, it’s inspiration and more on The NuveyLive podcast [listen to episode here] The album is available everywhere and collector’s CDs too.

• Dagg Mizzo teamed up with The Mith for new single “Tuva Wala” a song about the journey of lovers, relationship that has grown over time. On this Dagg Mizzo produces, sings and raps. The Mith joins in and talks about getting his girl outfits from Nassimbwa store(a shout out to Mrs Lubwama Navio).

• 1Der JR is not sleeping at all. Here is another one from him, talking about getting elevated to the next level spiritually and in all forms of life with vocals of Chibby OG (Nigerian). Check his soundcloud for all drops so far this year here

• Papa T also recently released a 13 tracks album, Chasing Connections featuring Lagum The Rapper,Kuel D, Ka$chpt, Mxestro. Stream everywhere

• Ms Banks has a new single out, “Party” featuring Naira Marley. Its that turn up vibe.
