Ruyonga releases new album in two years ‘Voice Of My Father’ – Listen

Mr. Edwin Ruyonga has released his new album Voice of My Father, two years after Glory Fire. Voice of My Father is a 15 track project which dropped today, Jan 3.

2018 has started a great musical note. Ruyonga is one of the most influential Ugandan Hip Hop artists; this project wasn’t much promoted and released on  streaming services  BandCamp Spottify and Itunes.

From the Hip Hop sphere, Tucker HD and Josh SB feature on the project.  The production team for this project include Dagg Mizzo, Izaya, Wana, Wordexclusive and executive producer Josh SB.

Ruyonga for a long time has championed using Hip Hop to address social issues and telling stories of elevation which enable him to re-purpose the marginalizing perspective people tend to have towards hip hop.  He is one of Uganda’s best and Africa’s most gifted.

The project took  a more spiritual approach without compromising his lyrical and rhythmic delivery. The project was released under Josh SB360.
